Get Paid to Save Money on Your Energy Bills
The Surrey Board of Trade in partnership with BC Hydro and City Green Solutions, a non-profit organization providing energy efficiency services and programs, are proud to present a new benefit program for their members:
The BC Hydro Product Incentive Program makes it easy for small and medium sized businesses and non-profit organizations to save money and reduce their
energy consumption. Eligible businesses/organizations can:
1. Receive a free energy assessment with an Energy Efficiency Advisor.
2. Learn about upgrades that improve your work environment and deliver quick payback through energy savings.
3. Receive financial incentives for upgrading lighting, refrigeration systems, and more.
This program is open to all types of businesses and non-profit organizations, including retail, restaurant, small industrial, office, churches, and common areas of strata housing complexes. The service is free, and there’s no obligation for the businesses to pursue any recommended upgrades. If you do choose to follow up on upgrades, our City Green Advisor can help you through the process (answering questions, providing BC Hydro Power Smart Alliance contractor referrals, helping you through the Product Incentive Program application process, etc.).
“The Surrey Board of Trade, through its Environment Team, wants to help businesses to get started in thinking about and identifying energy efficiency priorities so that they can save money and energy. We believe that by promoting these free energy assessments we will be providing them with a valuable service,” says Anita Huberman, CEO, Surrey Board of Trade.
